SIMPLE NATURE GREAT MINDS

September 8 1966 was the date fixed, Even with Ignorance it could not be seized, But with unscripted immoral and corrupt minds, The goals dwindle and its seed one hardly finds. Speeches of its wonder declared, Glamour and brightness it brings Never to be severed, Perhaps the greed of leaders has it veered, This, for a short whiles the illiteracy darkness. Time slips away, Happenings and seeds germinate and spread, Enhancement appreciated regardless The potholes in the greedy mans stomach Many are the ways exist for the corrupt To loot and keep illiteracy in the Africa, Yet the saving way is just one, Morality, the major addition of integrity and justice Pertinent realization grips the curious hearts, To know and be taught developed paths, Simple nature with great spirits, Breaks the grip of illiteracy and barbaric norms, Deceit of the potholed leaders Assumes their senses that simple nature should be cheated, Cause of the il...

PAIN OF MY SEX

PAIN OF MY SEX To my amazement it was my mother, My transporter to this world, A grateful parasite I have become so no bother, In love she welcomes me with no foul, But this I wonder is her love? To my amazement it was my father, The only kind I’ll spend eternity with, Without holding back I’ll endure the neglects by brother, Anything from him I will take even words filth, Uncertain of his love, now this is love? To my dashed hope it was my brother, The one I carry the same blood and relationship, For him “they are my duties” so i go no further, The men affair and the wordless girls – women despair, I must look too stupid because I still love him, My faith is shattered cause my sister is standing here too, The beloved one I must love and my life should trail, Beautiful heart yet her eyes drips almost without a stop, Dissolved into the scheme of her being and the masked anger and pain she must sail, She loves me; my certainty draws fo...

POEM TO 'YEAR' : WHEN I MET YOU “FRIEND”

WHEN I MET YOU “FRIEND”   Uncertain as to what will become of us We were bound by nature You were superior anytime, Not minding if my pocket had a dime, You will strike, surprising always is your gesture Your tenure you inform all But only the lucky or graced witness your next reign For friends like me You are tagged into twelve splits, Further parted into fifty two parts And shredded into three hundred and sixty five shreds Or three hundred and sixty six if you so wish For us, we are no issh. From inception with your vices and negative vibes We have to deal with, For periods of joy and laughter we rejoice And hope to forget your worse filth, Yet you are our friend the Yacht Our tale is like that of the Iroko tree and its branch And also like the Chick and its Owner The removal of the branch from the main tree, The end of nutrient and the branch dries up still, the owner of a chick with purpose feeds the chick, Which either ...

POEM:YOUTH

YOUTH Draining youth of this realm Was casted into darkness, Essences of their purity From within ones soul, Slowly killing the person You use to be. Drained by lustful thoughts, Dreams faded  By decaying hands of time and space, Bones decaying,  Mind weakening,  Heart dying as blood once rich,  Now blacken by time and age,  As life returns to a astral form, Waiting for deaths cold hand Reaching closer to your soul As bright eyes dim into darkness Never to have their purity  Ever returned to them,  For reality of life has been stolen from them Forever or till there reborn in another form  To roam on to the next adventure. Poem: Against The Ocean Tides

Against The Ocean Tides The waves break beneath my feet, They shift the sand without sympathy. Here I stand, all alone, Wading across the seven seas. Breaking rhythm as it interferes, Tides clash against my row boat. I’m pained as I discover, The boots I wear, now soaked. No matter how hard I try to suppress the water, They come in repeatedly like slaughter. Soon, I break through again, Calming the seas as I count to ten. I will never understand their rhythm, Their wishes pass me unheard. Although born as part of their brethren, The storm inside me is never understood. The times they’ve tried to turn the boat around, The times they’ve tried to shake me to ground, The times they’ve tried to end this dream, Shows their misunderstanding of me. Repeatedly swayed from side to side, The fragile boat drowns in sadness. It’s tempting to give into the rhythm of the tides, But want takes its sails, telling it to rise. With its paint washed away, A wretched b...

REST

REST They felt the innocence, the newness, the possibility of the impossible He was troubled and she was lost And though they both kept the world in the dark about who they really were together they shed every layer below the surface Unveiled every scar that had been kept hidden And they smiled Nothing more They reached into each other's depths and out flowed the beauty of their pain, sadness and shame While it's not always an easy fix, broken doesn't always mean useless Brittany Faulk-Walts

Keep Smiling Series 1 : ACCEPT NOT

ACCEPT NOT   The life we live can only be terrible if you accept it so; Situation at hand does not determine your life miserable If that’s so now, then you have long digested it so; Fight on to win more Live freely, to give more Stand for Justice that good and equality reign, In all remember the creator made everything, Everything, wonderful and beautiful and YOU especially! Lusty Barons

In the wee hours of morn, My aching bud suffers,  In the dark side of hope torn My site is crashed by surfers Described as duty Ascribed as heavenly, An engine gets rusty, And then I get lonely? Look at the other side,  The side where my cheek hurt the most,  Take up one current tide, Like water crashing upon a rock Soon it will over and then frost Rather not receive a tune,  The ceaseless breathe still on my neck,  Rather not smell him,  The stench of achieved glee overpowers my senses, Loose is the next best next word,  Disease of the mind termed right, If enough,  my distant sis will say... My little is yet judged again Again I am rushed into the ward,  The ward of nothingness,  I forget the real world, But behind me there is only sanity of my fruits,  Not once would I blame me like before, Not again would there be civility in this,  And it all goes off like damaged bulb,  Long away I will st...

SEEKING   A perfect gentle soul From head to sole His world in his words Swindle and waddle from Rage to love, warning to wandering Illuminating great deeds and damning Indifference   He creeps, works, and walks in the Shadow of PEN-his thoughts That spittle out in seeds to the field To sprout and spread   Sneaking, timid, and intelligent Like the chameleon The colourful shield trapped in His palm is a precaution Mode to nail any climatic uprising   A weaver, legend of words Slim, tall and diligent with An Antenna   Do you know him? POEM: ATTAINED NOTHINGNESS (PT 4)

ATTAINED NOTHINGNESS (PT 4) (Emotion: The First)   Seemingly crazy is this business, Tough are the made decision, Seething becomes the warring tactics Little the profit margin,   Weary from the heart of want, No longer is this considered a business, A rough ride to sweetness once, More is wanted to my mess   Breaking all rules for first trial, Glued to the trial to become me, Sweet smile, lovely nose, smooth voice Fun and love is all there it is.   Now, threatened by adverse nature law, This is love not war, This feeble heart cries out,               Why the cold silence and emotion casualties,   Conceded to go slow Fast is the thudding of my heart, Our final kiss awakens more The craving for you in my arms   Feeling of losing you A casualty tha...
