After the dismissal of 200 soldiers by the Nigerian Army at the Rukuba Barracks in Jos, Plateau state,   allegedly for laxity and cowardice and their failure to capture the Sambisa Forest, a notorious hideout of the Boko Haram.  According to Vanguard,  one of the soldiers dismissed,  a native of Ondo State,  Aguloye Sunday, who confirmed the dismissal to journalists in Jos, said they were arraigned on a two-count charge of “failure to perform military duty and disobedience to standing order.” However,  he said they would seek redress as the charge were false and malicious.  The brave Soldier,  also accused the government of providing obsolete and inadequate ammunition and weapons for the assignment.  He revealed that,  they were given less five bullets,  not five rounds,  the bomb given them were made in 1964, therefore expired. Chocolate Royale,  a subsidiary of AIM group,  owned by the popular Lebanese business man,  Mr Moussalli,  was shut down by NAFDAC.  Allegedly,  Chocolate Royale used expired and dangerous product for the production of their food and confectioneries used by the public.  It was reported that,  Chocolate Royale was involved in illegal importation and illegal cold room in the managing director's resident. It was only one month before her wedding, but thanks to Bala Muhammad's task force agent, she died of a stray bullet.   Late Miss Anuoluwa Modes, a young lady in her early 20s,  was killed by a naval officer on the convoy of members of the ABUJA ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY on Saturday 16th May,  2015; at Kado estate of the FCT.   Kado Estate was stormed by these so called agency under the watch of FCT minister,  Bala Mohammed,  around Conoil filling station in a bid to arrest and seize petroleum products like they have done the previous week in Wuse area, killing two Hawkers as well.   On sight of these men,  the Hawkers took to their heels, some without their purchase. This infuriated the sellers,  causing them to haul stones and Sand at the armed men.  Rather than, tear gas which was the norm,  the leader commanded that his men shot on sight.  Unfortunately for Anuoluwa Moses,  she was hit on her way back to the office from her lunch break.  

As informed yesterday,  The Osun state workers strike begins today,  May 26. The strike which is as a result of non-payment of salary workers,  back dated six months ago.   Adekomi Jacob,  Osun state NLC leader,  who had announced this yesterday, according to him,  there was a fourteen day ultimatum given to the government,  for the payment of both salaries and pension owing the workers. But this was not heeded to by the government.   He further affirmed that,  the strike will be indefinitely.    Oyo state workers also joined this indefinite Strike.   What a frustrating government.
