Remi Tinubu Refuses to Shake Saraki.

As reported by Punch: Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday administered oath of office and allegiance on Ahmad Lawan and 27 other All Progressives Congress senators who were absent at the formal inauguration of the Eighth Senate. The senators were gathered at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, waiting for President Muhammadu Buhari, who was billed to address them when the Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa, proclaimed the Eighth Senate and subsequently conducted the election. The election, which had 23 APC senators in attendance, produced Saraki as president of the Senate, while Senator Ike Ekweremadu was elected his deputy. Saraki, after the election, administered oath of office and allegiance on 75 other senators. APC leaders at Shock as Sakari Emerges Senete President? For Real?

The scheduled meeting between leaders of the All Progressives Congress, President Mohammadu Buhari and members of the National Assembly, elected on the party’s platform, ended abruptly on Tuesday. This followed the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as President of the 8th Senate. Horrifying Story: Woman Abducted, Raped and Mudered in Benin

A 23-year-old woman, identified as Joy Ojolede Okoh, has been reportedly abducted, raped and murdered in Benin City by unidentified persons on Monday. It was reliably gathered that her body was found in the boot of an SUV at Upper Mission Extension in Benin City, southern Nigeria. The SUV was said to have been snatched by the gunmen and used for the dastardly act before it was abandoned. It was gathered that the deceased who was said to be a bread seller at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park, was alleged to have closed for the day’s business at about 7:30pm when she was kidnapped. Sad story: Corps member stabbed to Death in Imo State.

A Batch C corp member popularly known as Hope was stabbed to death in his room in Aboh Mbise local government of Imo state last Saturday June 6th. His door was broken into while he slept and was attacked. Eyewitnesses say he was stabbed to death by an indigene. The police is currently investigating the case but no arrest has been made so far.
