Horrifying Story: Woman Abducted, Raped and Mudered in Benin


A 23-year-old woman, identified as Joy Ojolede Okoh, has been reportedly abducted, raped and murdered in Benin City by unidentified persons on Monday.

It was reliably gathered that her body was found in the boot of an SUV at Upper Mission Extension in Benin City, southern Nigeria.
The SUV was said to have been snatched by the gunmen and used for the dastardly act before it was
abandoned.

It was gathered that the deceased who was said to be a bread seller at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park, was alleged to have closed for the day’s business at about 7:30pm when she was kidnapped.

Edo Police Command spokesman, DSP Stephen Onwuchei, who confirmed the incident, said the

police have commenced investigation into the matter.

In another development a middle aged man whose name was given as Osayande Edoigiawerie, was allegedly stabbed to death by his lover’s son at Zabayor Street, in Benin on Monday night.

The deceased, who was alleged to have gone to his lover to take his dinner, was alleged to have been attacked with a dagger by the son of the woman.

The assailant who is now at lareg was said to have stabbed the man severally all over the body, leading to excessive bleeding.
The deceased’s lover was siad to have raised an alarm which attracted the people in the area to the scene.
They rushed Edoigiawerie to a nearby clinic where he was confirmed dead.

When contacted, the Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Stephen Onwuchei said he was yet to be briefed by the relevant Divisional Police Officer.

Over 30 members of the IPOB pro Biafra shot in Onitsha city

                                            To assume that the police and Navy officials (the so called security) would be the protectors and controllers of mayhem in the society? It was reported that the IPOB Pro Biafra Members were unarmed while on their peaceful protest when the unprovoked sporadic shooting by the Navy soldiers and Police began.                                              The incident happened at the Onitsha Bridge this evening when the group on the peaceful protest stumbled into the Navy Military check point. Over 30 members were injured while 3 members died instantly out of the over 200 members on the peaceful protest.
