Generator Fume kills entrire family in Bayelsa State

The people of Ogbia community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has been thrown into mourning as a result of the death of five persons from generator fumes and fire outbreak. Punch Metro reports that on Thursday, a family of three, comprising a man, his wife and child, died after inhaling fumes from a generator. Their corpses were reportedly discovered three days after their deaths following offensive odor that emanated from their decomposing bodies. A dweller in the community said:     The entire family slept on Sunday. There was no sign of them till Wednesday afternoon when we started smelling foul odor from their house.     The odor was saturating the entire neighborhood and it got us curious. The family always kept to themselves and that was why nobody discovered them on time. Toxic gas from a generator killed them. They must have inhaled it while sleeping. We called the police. Six people Stabbed at the Jerusalem Gay March

                     Can’t help to ponder what number of years this unremorseful being would be given for his criminal act this time.                      An Orthodox Jewish assailant stabbed and wounded six participants in the annual Gay Pride march in Jerusalem on Thursday, police said. Yishai Shlissel spent 10 years in jail for a similar attack a decade ago when three marchers were wounded. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned 'as a most serious incident' what was the worst attack in years on the event in Jerusalem, a city where the religious population is more prominent than in other parts of Israel.                                                                       

EU bans some Nigerian food from being exported.

                                  The European Union has banned some food exports from Nigeria. Among the food items banned includes beans, sesame seeds, melon seeds, dried fish and meat, peanut chips and palm oil. A statement from the European Food Safety Authority says the food substances were banned because they contained 'a high level of unauthorized pesticide.' Nigerian beans was banned because it contained between 0.03mg per kg to 4.6mg/kg of dichlorvos pesticide when the acceptable maximum residue limit is 0.01mg/kg. The ban on the food substances will expire in 2016

Anambra State Government increases workers salary by 16 percent

                               The family of late Dr. Marianne Abimbola Silva, has announced the funeral service of their Mother, Dr. Marianne Abimbola Silva, who passed on July 19th, aged 89. The burial rites announcement signed by Joke Silva's sister Chief (Mrs)Taiwo Taiwo will begin with the Christian Wake will be today, Wednesday 29th July from 6pm-8pm at the City Hall. She will be finally laid to rest on Thursday 30th July after a funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Lagos. May her soul rest in peace. Amen

Father Kills 41 day Old Daighter In Other To Divorce His Wife

                                              A 41-day-old baby, Zainab Olajide, has died after she was allegedly poisoned by her father, Kazeem Olajide, in a desperate attempt to divorce his wife. The incident happened at about 7am on Friday at Toluwalase Estate, Ijoko-Abule, in the Lemode area of Ogun State. Punch Metro learnt that the mother, Abosede Ogundare, had left Zainab with Kazeem to sweep the compound only to come back and met the baby with foams gushing out from her mouth. It was learnt that Ogundare alerted neighbours to the incident having found a bottle containing pesticide with her husband. Continue... Eighteen Months Old Baby Found Dead In The Car

                                   Police say an 18-month-old boy found dead in a hot vehicle in Arkansas last week was the son of a juvenile court judge, Wade Naramore. The Hot Springs Police Department said Monday it was conducting a criminal investigation. It says the boy's death was likely due to "excessive heat." A statement released on the family's behalf by a family friend Sunday night called the death a "tragic accident." The Hot Springs Sentinel Record reported Monday that an official cause of death wouldn't be released until toxicology reports are ready in a few weeks. Police Cpl. McCrary Means said Naramore and others have spoken with police about the death. The local prosecutor has asked to recuse himself. Naramore is a former Garland County deputy prosecutor.

                                                Some family members of the immediate past minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Allison-Madueke have appealed to Nigerians, especially her critics to let her be. Mrs Allison-Madueke is said to be in a critical condition from an undisclosed ailment in a London hospital. “Our daughter has been in hospital where is receiving treatment for some weeks now. She is currently under close medical observation. Bobbi Kristina To Be Buried Next To Her Late Mother, Whitney Houston

Bobbi Kristina, Witney Houston’s daughter, passed on at the age of 22.   She died outside Atlanta in the hospice care facility where she has been receiving treatment until her family decided to take all medicals off her. Bobbi Kristina who was found underwater in her bathtub on 31st of January; police believed she was underwater for anywhere between 2 and 5 minutes. Paramedics were able to resuscitate her, but she was in a medically induced coma and placed on life support.                                    Ultimately, Pat Houston and Bobby - co-guardians for Bobbi Kristina -- had to make the decision to withdraw medications.
