Sought after and preferred The dance of innocence Confused, my tears are added Formerly adored, my tainted Conscience It’s only a time, Now, the season almost ripe I have seen the peace sublime Farther away it goes, shrinking into the dark pipe Subconscious of what may be Scurried my heart hides in the tidal storm The beginning this is meant to be, My end assuredly has come Tired from denying the truth Horrified by the thought of the tiny beautiful life; Uncertain of continuity I fear the truth The sacred long ingest upturned my life Consumed in fright; Deserted by knowledge; The wait, my body painfully tight; Look out, my image tainted in sludge.
