NYSC(National Youth Services Corpps) Restricts Pregnant women, Nursing Mothers from Servie

  The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) restricted pregnant women, nursing mothers and psot graduate students from participating in the national youth service across the country. This was explained by the NYSC DG, Brig-Gen Johnson Olawumi, emphasizing that these category of people will not be able to undergo the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC, which include, mobilisation, orientation, Primary assignment and winding-up passing out parade. Therefore, they have to be exempted. He also said that, pregnant women and children would no longer be allowed into orientation camps across the country.

Buhari: No Corrupt Person Will Be Spared

                       President Buhari, during his interview with the CNN yesterday, said that, no corrupt member of APC will be spared if found guilty of any corrupt practices. This was addressed to everyone heading or handling any political position in Nigerian Politics. He had said this emphatically   “If any of my associates or party member is indicted of corruption, they cannot escape justice. There is not going to be any APC member or any close personality found guilty that would escape justice,” he said And You know what, he is not appeasing anyone. Go President!

ISIS Bans Beheading Videos. Does it Stop the Act?

                             ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has banned beheading videos  because he thinks they are bad for the terror group’s image. (So he knows the videos and their acts are bad?  Which means he knows their wicked acts are not religious or anything. Why use religion to lie?) According to several reports, he has sent a letter to all his media offices saying they were no longer allowed to release graphic footage. His reason for the ban was based on not offending other Muslims, who might think the videos will frighten their children. However, Syrian politician and lawyer Ferid Hisso said "banning the videos does not mean they would put an end to the beheading "He said  “Instead of banning the release of such videos, ­Baghdadi should have banned the crimes behind the scenes.”

New Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff: ‘Boko Haram will have no room to operate’

                                          The operational code of the counterinsurgency effort has been changed from from “Operation Zaman Lafiya” to “Operation Zaman Lafiya Dole”, which in Hausa means ‘the quest for peace becomes a must’ This was made known by the Nigeria’s new Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, yesterday said under his command Boko Haram will have no room to operate. According to him he has zero tolerance for abuse of human rights, killings and destruction of property. According to the Chief of Army Staff who took over command of the nation’s army last week, Boko Haram would either beg for peace or face the wrath of highly motivated and combat ready soldiers. “The ongoing activities of Boko Haram is assuming an alarming dimensions in Borno state and other parts of the north east. Joke Sllva Loses Her Mum

                                     89 years old, Dr. Marienne Abimbola Silva, mother of veteran actress Joke Silva died peacefully yesterday morning July 19th, 2015. Dr Silva was the third female doctor in Nigeria but the first Nigerian female to bag a medical degree. She became an OON (Officer of the Order of the Niger) in 1979. She's survived by her children and grandchildren. May her soul rest in peace...Amen.                                 

Pastor Oyedepo Sends Food Aid to Osun Workers

Osun state workers, retiree and others came out in their numbers today to receive the food aid sent to them by Pastor David Oyedepo. Pastor Oyedepo sent the trailer load of food stuff to the workers to help them cushion the hardship they face as a result of their many months of unpaid salaries.
