At least 27 tourists have been killed and many others are running for
their lives in Hotel Riu Imperial Marhaba, a 5-star beach front hotel in Sousse
town in Tunisia as gunmen suspected to be Islamic militias stormed the hotel
and started shooting at people.
This morning's attack follows a similar attack in March, where three
terrorists attacked the Bardo National Museum in the Tunisian capital city of
Tunis, and took hostages. Twenty-one people, mostly European tourists, were
killed at the scene while an additional victim died ten days later.
ISIS
claimed responsibility for the attack, the deadliest involving foreigners in
Tunisia since a 2002 suicide bombing on the island of Djerba.
Tunisia Interior minister said this attack (still ongoing) was not just to kill people but to destroy the economy of the country. Some photos from the scene below... and it's happening at 2 separate hotels.
